The winner of last year's Doncaster Book Award was Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy. The winner was announced at a special ceremony at Doncaster Civic Theatre on Friday 14th March 2008. Derek Landy sent a special message expressing his delight that Skulduggery had won.
