I think that this book would be a great book for people who love historical real life adventures with a twist.
milly from Year 7, Hall Cross Academy:
At first, i found the book quite boring and hard to get in to however i kept reading until the end and eventually found it fairly interesting. i carried on reading because it is the sort of book that seems like there was going to be a twist in the plot on every page; even if there isn't. to start off the story Lady Mary is talking to her mother- Anne Boleyn. This part is good as it tells the background story and how the characters got to where they are. In summery, i would rate this story 6 out of 10 and recommend it to people interested in history and in the age group of 8-16. If you enjoy reads that draws you in with a pinch of excitement and mystery, then this is definitely for you. however, if you need a book that is more adventurous from the start, you should probably look for a different book instead.
Ella from Year 8, Hall Cross Academy:
I haven't finished this book yet... but the parts that i have read have been tension filled and have made me sorry for the main character Princess Mary or as the book title says Lady Mary. I would recommend this to any one who is interested in history and is looking for a really good read. This book makes me want to know more about the life of princess Mary of Tudor because it is a literary non fiction book meaning that it is a biography but told in a story form.I think that this book is for people 9 and above because for some younger readers it would be better that they were read to because they will still love it but they will struggle to understand this book. I love this book, and I know that you will LOVE it too! So stop what you are doing and pick up this book!!!
