Chiara from Year 5, Montagu Academy:

Tis is a really good book. The plot of the story is that Mr
Tugg is having a street party with The Bouncing Bandits playing
a song. The oldest couple in the street gets crowned. My
favourite character is Cheese and Tomato because they have
funny names. What I enjoyed about the book is their dad
dressing up as a banana. The author kept me interested by
putting funny sentences in.

Marks out of 10: 9

Owen from Year 8, Don Valley Academy and Performing Arts College:

I really enjoyed reading this book. I was always laughing out
loud. Mr Tugg is really nasty to Nicholas' dad. his dad is
really funny. Jeremy Strong is a really good author and reading
this book has made start reading his other books.

Elizabeth from Year 6, Montagu Academy:

This book was very funny. Cheese and Tomato are weird names to
have, and if i was called that i wouldn't be happy. They are
called that because they were born in a back of a pizza
delivery van. It's a very side-splitting book and the cover of
the book is very eye-catching. It was the 2nd book i have read
in the book awards i think. I would recommend this book to
younger readers because the font is slightly big and its easy
to read.

Marks out of 10: 10

Chloe Henshall from Year 6, Montagu Academy:

This book is absolutely funny I would recommend it to other
people 7+ and up. The main charters are Mum Cheese and Tomato.
The funniest bit in the book is when dad dresses up as a
banana. And Cheese and Tomato was born in the back of a pizza
delivery van.
There is some very funny pictures
I WOULD GIVE IT A 10 OUT OF 10.

OK, if there was a competition on the funniest book I have ever
read, then I would most definitely have to say that it was this
book!
From names like Cheese and tomarto to dads drest as bananas
whilst singing on a stage at a Street party, this truly must be
the silliest book ever. The next door neighbor of Nichols, Mr
Tugg, is helping to organise the biggest street party they have
ever seen to celebrate the queens coronation, but when it all
gets a bit bonkers, why does cheese end up with a crown on his
bottom? And what better time than this for the prince and
princes to announce an extra special surprise?
This book is amazing, I would definitely recommend this book to
others.

Caitlyn from Year 7, Don Valley Academy and Performing Arts College:

The book was about a Coronation celebration held as a strret
party. Everyone needs to take part and make something for it,
also, they need to dress up. There are two twins called cheese
and tomato and a crown ends up on Cheese's bum! I love jeremy
strong! This book is suitable for primary to adult, because
both would find it very funny and enjoy it

one getting grownd.

Yes I would recament this book to my friends because it is
funny. 10/10

My brothers famous bottom gets crowned was amazing. It made
me laugh my socks off. My favorite part was when cheese and
tomato who was named that because they was born in the back of
a pizza van made there own crowns it was way too big for them.
They wore crowns to celebrate the queens coronation. This
fantastic book will be wonderfull to those who love a good
laugh. I will recommend this book to any one because it's good
for kids and good for adults. I hope you get a chance to read
this brilliant book like I did.

I would give this book 10 out of 10 because its very funny and
I enjoyed every bit of the story. I think this story is for 9
to 14 year olds who love to read comedy and funny books. It is
about a family who have 2 boys and there are twins, a girl and
a boy called cheese and tomato - they were called cheese and
tomato cause they were born in a pizza van.

Marks out of 10: 10

Jasmine from Year 8, Don Valley Academy and Performing Arts College:

This is a very funny book which I enjoyed reading.

My favourite character in the book was Nicholas because he is
interesting, unique and funny.

The book is about Nicholas and his family, including his
brother Cheese and sister Tomato (you need to read My Mum's
Going To Explode to see how they got their names) and the
Queen's coronation street party.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a funny story,
children and adults alike.

HAHAHA! I have never read anything as hilarious as this. You
should get My Brother's Famous Bottom Gets Crowned. Mr. Tug
explodes at any time your not expecting it, only because dad
winds him up. So if I was you I'd keep an eye on dad and Mr.
Tug. Nickolas is the only sensible one but you could say mum is
50% sensible and 50% daft, dad is definitely daft and Cheese
and Tomato are silly. Lancelot and Gran are 50 50 like mum.
So if you want something to make you laugh then get this book!

This book is about a street that throws a party for the queen.
There are two twins on the street that cause an absolute
nuisance, they are Called cheese and Tomato. The reason they
are called that is because in another Strong story they are
born in the back of a pizza delivery van.

My favourite
character is Mr Tugg because he is silly stupid and crazy. I
love at the start of the book when Mr Tugg loses it over a
firework. I didn't dislike anything about the book. I would
recomend this book to anybody that just wants a laugh and a
cheer up.

Josh from Year 8, Don Valley Academy and Performing Arts College:

I couldn't get into this book because it is not my type of
book. I didn't read much, just one chapter.
The bit I did like of what I read was the part where Mr Tugg
waves his arms around and has a bit of a meltdown, he was my
favourite character. I liked him because he is always really
grumpy and mad.
I disliked this book and would like it to be more exciting and
for it to make sure it buries the reader inside so they can't
put it down!
I would recomend this book to people who perhaps aren't into
reading and who want an easy read.

Marks out of 10: 5

Kaydei-jade from Year 6, Saltersgate Junior School:

This book was great. Really enjoyed it, I laughed alot. Jeremy
Strong is a really good writer. The main characters are Cheese
and Tomatos. Which are actually human. Not a pizza. I read the
book before this one and it tells you why. (They were born in a
pizza truck) I suggest this book to anyone who loves to read
and likes a little giggle. BOYS AND GIRLS! The next door
neighbor of Nichols is Mr Tugg is helping to organise the
biggest street party ever seen to celebrate the queens
coronation! Love this hilarious book. 10

I THOUGHT IT WAS A FUNNY BOOK BECAUSE THEY WERE HAVING A STREET
PARTY AND ALL DRESSING UP THEY EACH HAD A PAPER CROWM. AT THE
END CHEESE FALLS OFF ONTO CHEESES BOTTOM.

Marks out of 10: 9

Holly from Year 8, Don Valley Academy and Performing Arts College:

This book is bout a family who is very unusual they all seem to
act silly and love making jokes. During the book the queen is
having her coronation so the sreet decides in her honour that
they will have a street party. The Chairman is called Mr Tugg
who gets mad very easily and as they describe him as the
volcano, and the woman is called Mrs Quince Porage who seems to
exegerate and is a very loud person.

This book is not the type of book I like but other people would
so I would reccomend this book to someone who enjoys puns and
childish humour.
