Rebecca from Year 7, Don Valley Academy and Performing Arts College:

Peter pan and his magic fairy Tinkerbell are outside the
bedroom of a girl called Wendy and her brothers and they all
fly off and have a wonderful adventure in Wonderland. I loved
the setting for this book and when you think you know whats
going to happen if you have not seen the film it surprises you.
My favourite character is Peter Pan becuase he is mysterious
and gives the reader a magical feeling. I didn't like the
beginning where it talks about Wendy's aprents for the first
few pages. I would recommend it because it is an amzing
adventure and makes you smile.

This book is cool!!!
I love books that have fairies in, or pirates, or red Indians,
or mermaids.
And this book has them all in and more, so that's why this book
is awesome!!!
If i tell you too much ill spoil it for you, but i will just
give you an idea...
So... There are 3 children called Wendy, john and Michel, who
live in London with there mother, farther and there nurse nana(
a dog). Wendy loves telling story's to her brothers, about a
place called never land. A boy named Peter Pan likes to come
and sit in the window to listen to Wendy's story's, so that he
can take them home and tell them to the lost boys. one day
peter takes Wendy, John and Michel on an amazing adventure.

READ THIS BOOK OR ELSE!!!

Chloe from Year 7, Don Valley Academy and Performing Arts College:

Peter Pan was a good book because it is so descriptive. I liked
the fact that it was better then the film and more
entertaining. I love reading and I love watching films and if
you have already watched the film the book will be better
because it describes the characters more and it tells you how
Wendy met Peter Pan. My favourite character was Wendy because
she made sure no one found out about Peter Pan and kept him a
secret and protected him from her mom and dad. She even sewed
his shadow back on when it fell off and she even travelled with
Peter.

I enjoyed the way the characters interracted especially wendy
and peter. However it was a bit childish for my liking.
To lovers of fantasy.

I enjoyed the book, i wouldn't read it again and i wouldn't
call it a favourite. My favourite character was Captain James
Hook because he captured the lost boys brilliantly and is a
brilliant captain. my least favourite character was Mr Smee
because he was really sneaky. I would recommend it o people who
love fantasy.

Harry from Year 5, Travis St Lawrence CE Primary School:

I read a pop up version of Peter Pan which retold the story in
a lot of detail using J M Barrie's own words.
I think the story of Peter Pan is epic! I love the part when
Peter and Captain Hook are having the battle of their lives and
also when he was trying to find his shadow.

I enjoyed the book, i wouldn't read it again and i wouldn't
call it a favourite. My favourite character was Captain Hook
because he captured the lost boys and he is a brilliant

was really annoying. I would recommend it to people who love
fantasy but i would not give this book 10 out of 10 because it
was ok but not really my type. all i can say is that it is like
the film
